Crowz, A New Team-Based Shooter, Enters Early Access On Steam
Become a mercenary and fight for control of a precious energy resource.
Today, developer Royal Crow and publisher ThumbAge Co announced the launch of a new team-based shooter with battle royale element, on Steam’s Early Access. Titled Crowz, the game is set in on an Earth suffering the effects of a massive meteor strike and the resulting global environmental disaster. In this new world, mercenaries are contracted by powerful nations to fight over the world’s most valuable resource, an energy source known as Q-on. These are recovered from meteor crash sites.
To obtain these resources, players will need to play in one of two modes. The first puts players into four-person squads in battle royale-style combat. While playing this mode, players will not only have to keep an eye out for other players but also contend with falling meteorites and asphyxiating gas – all while collecting Q-on. Once enough of the resource has been obtained, the team will need to call in a helicopter to take them to safety. Of course, the other teams will see the helicopter coming, so they’ll have to be alert.
Mode two, Blood Zone, pits two teams of 32 players against each other in an all-out war. As with the previous mode, the goal is to obtain Q-on. The resource can be found scattered throughout the battlefield, so just be sure to be the first to grab it.
