Crossout In 4K Is Now Available As The Vehicle Combat Title Gets A PS5 Version Release
The haptic controller is taken full advantage of...even down to the feeling of your vehicle driving over pebbles.
Have you been waiting for better framerates, 4K graphics, and a virtual buffet of new feedback options for your vehicular violence? Today is your day, friendo! Gaijin Entertainment has released the PS5 version of Crossout and the graphics are just the beginning.
In addition to flat out better performance, the team has taken full advantage of the PS5 controller, not only utilizing the haptic feedback of the buttons, but also using the vibration of the controller in some neat ways. Just from touch, you'll have even more feedback that should give you indications of what weapons may have hit you and from what direction.
For those crazy teammates though, you can turn off vibration from friendly collisions. (Actually, if you totally hate vibrations, you can shut it all off.)
Stun effects have their own special audio/video effects added, as well.
If you want to swap to the PS5 version, head to the PlayStation Store, search "Crossout" and select the PS5 version. Don't forget to check out all the other upgrades added in this release in the official announcement while you wait for that download.
