Crossing Boarders: War Thunder Heads to PS4 on June 3rd
War Thunder is finally joining a host of other AAA Free-to-Play games on the PS4 starting on June 3rd. The historic fighter sim had been one of the first confirmed F2P titles being ported to the PS4, having been announced back in May of last year, although originally it had been slated for a 2013 holiday release. In addition to the base game, War Thunder's recent Ground Forces tank expansion will also be available on the 3rd, bringing the PS4 version of the game in sync with its PC counterpart.
Version numbers aren't the only thing that's slated to lineup between the PC/PS4 versions of War Thunder, Gaijin Entertainment has stated both platforms will be able to play with and against one another in the "very near future".
