Crossfire: Legion's Free Playtest Canceled And Early Access Delayed
"So we can implement more of your feedback."
Today, Blackbird Interactive announced that Crossfire: Legion's Early Access faces a delay until May 24. Additionally, the scheduled free playtest on April 21 is now fully canceled and, while a tough call to make, the developers are hoping to apply a wealth of player feedback to round out the game for future releases.
Most of the player feedback came from Crossfire: Legion's Technical Test and Demo from Steam, which ranged from annoying bugs and optimization of graphical performance. To focus on eliminating those issues in Crossfire: Legion, the free playtest had to be canceled, making Early Access a top priority. Somewhere down the line, though, the developers would like to have free playtests for those unsure of the game.
Speaking of uncertainty, Blackbird Interactive linked a Let's Play video on YouTube for those wanting to get a better idea of what to expect. We have that below for you. Despite the delay, fans in the comments of the dev blog on Steam generally have positive responses, encouraging the devs to "take [their] time" and that "more time makes for a better game."
