Cross-Faction Gameplay Is Coming To World Of Warcraft On May 31 With Patch 9.2.5
Blood Elves and Dark Iron Dwarves will also have new questlines and rewards in this update
On May 31 World of Warcraft players can partake in The Shadowlands content update 9.2.5 and experience cross-faction play, new questlines for Blood Elves and Dark Iron Dwarf characters, a new PvP arena, and more.
Cross-faction gameplay is on its way, now allowing players more grouping options as they can now play with Horde and Alliance players, regardless of their allegiance, to work together and tackle raids, dungeons, and more. All that players will need to have is a BattleTag, Real ID friendship, or be a member of a cross-faction WoW Community.
It’s always a great time to be a Blood Elf, but with the new content update Blood Elf players will receive the Elusive Emerald Hawkstrider mount for completing their new questline. Blood Elf Paladins will earn the Blood Knight-themed Ensemble: Blood Knight’s Dedication. Now, Blood Elves aren't the only lucky ones this update as Dark Iron Dwarf players will earn the Grimhowl’s Face Axe mount and the Dark Iron-themed Arsenal: Lavaforge Armaments as a reward for completing their respective questline.
The new PvP arena is located within the ancient wonder of Zereth Mortis and will offer players a new challenging battlefield to test their skills. WoW Players should keep an eye on Shadowlands Season 4 which will make its debut later this summer. If players would like to read the official announcement by Blizzard to learn more about cross-faction gameplay and update notes, please check out their post here.
Note: Activision Blizzard is still under investigation by the state of California for serious harassment charges. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about such actions within his company – and performed some himself – and shielded the perpetrators from consequences.
