Longest QoL Notes Ever: Creativerse August 2023 Update Introduces Enhanced Settings, A New Item, And More
There's lots of quality of life improvements to make things easier for players.
The August 2023 update for Creativerse introduces several significant quality of life improvements.
For starters, the game's settings menu has been revamped, giving players greater control over post-processing effects like depth of field, color grading, and more. There’s also a new Vending Machine item that allows customizable trades between different items, enabling unique transactions like trading dirt blocks for a Lumite Armor set. The map now features a "Map Warping" feature too, enabling players to teleport to locations using the map view while holding the Sprint key. This feature comes with customizable altitude settings.
Additionally, a new mob variant, the Night Truffl, has been introduced, and the maximum target frame rate has been increased. Various movement settings have been added for different game modes as well. Players can customize reach distances in Creator Mode and even enable/disable block copying based on different scenarios.
The update includes numerous new blocks, items, and building improvements, such as improved block placement to prevent character bumping and the ability to copy blocks and Blueprint hints in Survival Mode. Also, world creation has been enhanced with a new World Creation Wizard, new presets, and settings to enable/disable crafting tables in the wild.
Other improvements include UI enhancements, improvements to the Forge interface, updates to the player list, new game references accessible from the ESC menu and Webadmin, and various fixes.
