Create Your Own Football Club And Compete For The Championship In Upcoming F2P Football Game UFL
Christiano Ronaldo will serve as an ambassador for the game, which also has several "partner clubs."
FIFA is looking old, eFootball is looking bad, so what's a football fan to do? Maybe check out UFL, a F2P title coming later this year that bills itself as "fair-to-play." Earlier this week, Strikerz Inc. CEO Eugene Nashilov hosted a dev diary/gameplay reveal video, with help from one of the biggest names in the sport.
In addition to casual modes, UFL's primary mode is "a global online league with division-based ranking and a fair matchmaking system that takes every player's personal performance into account," including official world championships for the best teams, competed for on a seasonal basis. You'll create and manage your own club, including upgrading your players as they gain experience. Nashilov said that he wanted UFL to be "totally accessible, fair to play, and a fresh experience in the football gaming space."
UFL has several "partner clubs" throughout the world, though many won't be familiar to casual fans. Nashilov profiled the intriguing story of Hashtag United, which began in 2016 as a video channel of an amateur club that became an officially recognized semipro team in England. Five players will serve as "UFL ambassadors," highlighted by legendary footballer Christiano Ronaldo.
UFL will launch "when it's ready" in 2022. Visit the game's website to learn more.
