Could LawBreakers Be Making A Comeback? Cliffyb Says Negotiations Could Happen With Nexon For The Rights
A LawBreakers revival is on the mind of Cliff Bleszinski.
LawBreakers failed to find a sustainable audience when it launched in August of 2017 and the servers were shut down by September 2018. Shutdowns always affect some players who suddenly find themselves without their favorite game.
Fast forward to 2023, and out of nowhere there is talk by Cliff Bleszinski, the man who headed up the LawBreakers development studio Boss Key Productions, that the game could be due for a revival.
Update:
My friend who has his own studio and is interested in a revival of LawBreakers has my LA lawyer on retainer to negotiate with Nexon for it.
Stay tuned.

Nexon was, of course, the publisher of LawBreakers and currently holds the rights to the game. Whether they are willing to negotiate for the IP rights to LawBreakers is unknown at this time, as Bleszinski doesn't state negotiations are happening, only that he has a friend who would like to obtain the rights.
As far as Cliffyb's role in a potential LawBreakers revival, he had this to say.
I'd consult. Full time game design and being CEO = over it. Too busy doing other stuffs these days.

Whether or not anything comes of this, well, we'll just have to wait and see. Nexon may not be willing to sell off the IP, even a dead one. Some companies are just like that. See City of Heroes.
One fan did have a special request regarding any possible negotiations, however (even though their ask is a game held by NCSoft, not Nexon).
Ask em to get wildstar too while they're at it please
