Core Announces The Multiverse Games, It's Like The Olympics Without Leaving Your Seat
So, by now you're all aware that Core is that game that isn't really a game but a place to create games and share them with... whomever. So that might make it the perfect place for something like this.
What is 'this'? It's the core Multiverse Games, an event that brings players from all around the world together in a global competition where they can represent their countries and maybe earn a piece of a $25,000 prize pool. It's open to everyone and, luckily, doesn't require a lifetime of training and peak physical fitness to be involved. Instead, players can spend two weeks trying to make it to the top of the leaderboards in 12 user-generated games. These games include using gravity guns in a soccer match and jet ski duels.
There will even be an opening ceremony event with community made floats representing "countries". (That's in quotes because apparently Mars even counts as a country here.) The event will also feature several well-known gaming influencers, including Greg Miller and the Kinda Funny crew, Max Scoville and Stella Chung from IGN, and more.
