Conqueror’s Blade Announces “New, Fully Dedicated Optimization Team” Named “Project Nirvana”
Players can expect optimizations based on feedback beginning with the new Season.
While Conqueror's Blade has been on the ball about delivering new content to players regularly (including the recent Knightfall update), the content hasn’t been as good as it could have been. In fact, the developers note that it’s generally affected by “a lack of refinement and polish, resulting in crashes and frustrating lag”. Of course, players have been offering feedback on all of this, and during the China Joy Shanghai meetup in July, a lot of players had the opportunity to do that in person. The end result is “Project Nirvana” a new team dedicated to getting the strategy game on track.
Players will begin to see the efforts from Project Nirvana in the game’s new Season, where it will optimize several things. One area where players should see improvement is PvE content – which is being revamped. It seems that players were feeling overwhelmed by the volume of PvE content and after looking into it themselves, the designers are working to improve daily and weekly quests, including streamlining rewards.
Overall performance is getting some love with changes to art assets that reduce VRAM usage and streamline the game client as well.
Players can expect more changes in the future. The devs already have plans to adjust Territory War, better balance units and Heroes, and decrease progression difficulty for new accounts.
