Conan Exiles Age of War Chapter 2 Is Now Live, Improving Loot And Revamping The Purge Systems
This free update focuses on the game's base-building and follower system.
Chapter 2 for the Age of War update is upon us.
In this free patch, players of Conan Exiles face the invading Stygian Empire, defending their treasure hoards with a revamped purge system. They gain control over when and how the purge attacks, including the difficulty level. Defeating the formidable Hand of War rewards players with improved loot, with the quality scaling according to the chosen difficulty. This update harnesses the game's base-building and follower system.
Additionally, Age of War Chapter 2 enhances the survival game's loot tables, aligning enemy drops with their culture, environment, and equipment. Players can venture out from their fortresses to raid camps and explore dungeons in search of rare loot. The impact of these features affects both new players and seasoned veterans.
The update also introduces an array of paid cosmetics via the Battle Pass and Bazaar item shop, predominantly themed around the Age of War and the Stygian Empire. These include pyramid building sets, Stygian weapon and armor skins, emotes, pets, and war paints. Age of War Chapter 2 is available now on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
