Competitive Strategy Game Duelyst Kicks Off Open Beta
Duelyst, a turn-based strategy game developed by Counterplay Games, officially kicks off open beta as of today. A competitive game featuring tactical combat, squad building and more, Duelyst offers players the choice of six factions -- each with their own minions, positioning capabilities and play styles -- to use in 1v1 matches against online opponents.
Originally funded on Kickstarter, Duelyst is the creation of a team of veteran game developers; including artists Glaube Kotaki (Rogue Legacy) and Chrisophe Ha (World of Warcraft, Diablo III, Overwatch) as well as Creative Director and Producer Keith Lee (Diablo III, Rachet & Clank).
In addition to the launch of open beta, Counterplay Games has also announced a launch window of "Early 2016" for the game.
