Coachella Is Back In Fortnite This Year Starting Today, Featuring An Island To Explore For Exclusive Items
Although the music festival ends on April 23, the special world is available until April 28.
Can’t make it to the Coachella Music and Arts Festival this year? Not a problem, there’s a second-best option available: Fortnite.
The battle royale is bringing back the festival, featuring events, XP, and rewards to enjoy. Alliance Studios has teamed up with Epic Games to create Coachella Island, available from April 14 at 3 PM ET until April 28 at 12 PM ET. The music in the world is from DJ Porter Robinson.
(Please be aware that Coachella Island contains flashing lights, so those with photosensitivity might want to stay away.)
Players can complete quests in the world to earn exclusive items: Hi-Fi Cacti Spray, Look At The Sky Lobby Track, Cact-eye Emoticon, and Coachella Sunset Spray. There’s also a task to get the Coachella Island Loading Screen, and the shop has new stuff, too. Check out everything that’s earnable on the official site.
