Cloud Imperium Reveals That Squadron 42 Is “Feature Complete”
They’re now in the polishing phase.
Over the weekend, Cloud Imperium Games hosted CitizenCon 2953 – the convention for all things Star Citizen. During this event, the developer announced that Squadron 42 is “feature complete” and that they’ve moved on to polishing the game. This convention announcement was followed up by a post on the game’s site as part of the roadmap update.
Also announced in the roadmap update are changes to Squadron 42, such as dividing the teams into Strike Teams made up of developers of multiple disciplines, such as design, art, and audio. This change is intended to make things more flexible as the teams polish Squadron 42 and work toward the beta and release stages. A few new items have been added to the roadmap as well. One is the addition of ‘ship trespass, which stops players from entering others’ ships without permission.
