UPDATE: Closed Beta Now Live For Evercore Heroes — A New Kind Of MOBA By Former LoL And Fortnite Developers
I know I wrote "MOBA" but please note the CEO of Vela Games says: “Evercore Heroes is not a MOBA."
Do you like League of Legends and/or Fortnite?
Well, industry veterans behind both games came together to develop Evercore Heroes, a new competitive PvE multiplayer game, and its closed beta just went live today for PC players. Players can access the closed beta by purchasing the Evercore Heroes Founder's Pack, which includes additional keys to share, exclusive content, and a battle pass.
The game features four teams of four heroes competing against each other where they must power up their heroes, collect magical artifacts, survive enemy onslaughts, and conquer the final challenge. Collaboration and strategy are key to success, according to Vela Games, as teams must outplay each other and find the right balance between building power and hindering rival teams. The closed beta includes three distinct stages, each with unique items, enemies, and head-to-head finale encounters. And there’s sixteen different heroes to try out, with more planned for future releases.
“Evercore Heroes is not a MOBA, an MMO, or a loot grind,” the company’s CEO and co-founder Travis George said. “Our game combines deep strategic and combat mastery with a focus on truly cooperative teamplay, in a competitive format.” He added, “We believe fans of PVE and PVP across many different genres will enjoy Evercore Heroes, just as the tens of thousands of players who have already helped us test the game.”
UPDATE 6/21/2023: After an additional day of delay, NOW the beta is live!
