Christmas Arrives Early In RuneScape & RuneScape 3
Christmas is almost here, and in RuneScape that means it's time for the “Anti-Santa” to appear. Regular Santa’s not down with this kind of thing, so as part of the free-to-play game’s holiday event, he’ll be sending you in to infiltrate Anti-Santa’s ranks.
Get into Anti-Santa’s inner circle, gain his trust and use his own forces against him -- all to save Christmas. Oh… Yeah. And of course there are those sweet rewards to help motivate you.
For helping Santa save Christmas, you’ll receive both a black and an inverted Santa Hat. You’ll also be able to get your hands on rewards from past Christmas events, including:
- 2x Santa hat
- 2x Christmas cracker
- 2x White partyhat
- 2x Blue partyhat
- 2x Green partyhat
- 2x Purple partyhat
- 2x Yellow partyhat
- 2x Red Partyhat
- Black partyhat
- Rainbow partyhat
- Jester hat & scarf
- Bobble hat & scarf
- Tri-Jester hat & scarf
- Woolly hat & scarf
- Anti-Santa outfit
- Santa outfit
- Wintumber tree
- Reindeer hat
- Yo-yo
- Marionette
RuneScape 3 players also have some fun things to look forward to, with special events of their own. All month long, players will be able to access the Christmas Interface by clicking on the snowman icon on the Ribbon to get all the details on what's happening. This includes the multi-part Christmas holiday quest "The Pinch who Stole Christmas."
To take part in the event, you’ll need to speak to one of the snow imps at the Priffdinas, Burthrope or Lumbridge lodestones and pick up the quest “The Pinch who Stole Christmas”.
There is also an Advent Calendar, Winter Weekends and the New Defenders event.
More details on the event can be found on the RuneScape 3 Blog and the RuneScape forums.
