Chivalry II Kicks Off the $100,000 Routier Rumble Twitch Rivals Competition
Oh yeah, there’s a Halloween event too.
Today is the beginning of Chivalry II’s Routier Rumble Twitch Rivals tournament and the chance for fans to cheer their favorite Twitch streamers on as they compete for a share of $100,000 USD. The tournament consists of several modes including Drunken Brawl, Solo Free-for-all, and Team Objectives. The event is underway as of now, with the EU region competing first. Following that, at 2:00 PM Pacific, will be the NA portion of the tournament. Details on the event can be found on the Twitch Rivals site.
In addition to the tournament, Chivalry II also kicks off its second Halloween Event today. This will last until November 1, during which time the battlefield will take on a more haunted look with special decorations and props. Players will also be able to get some interesting Halloween-themed items, like pumpkin helmets and ammo, and carryable coffins. The coffins can apparently be used as weapons that are thrown at enemies, so have fun with that.
