Take On The Ivory Tower Dungeon And More New Content In Today's Lost Ark Update
This patch introduces a new 4-player Abyssal Dungeon in Voldis.
Will you climb the ivory tower?
Lost Ark has dropped the release notes for the Ivory Tower update. This patch introduces the MMORPG's Ivory Tower Abyssal Dungeon, a new 4-player dungeon located in Voldis with different difficulty levels. Rewards from this dungeon include various honing materials, gold, and materials for the newly introduced Elixir System.
The Elixir System enhances players' combat abilities by imbuing their gear with powerful effects. Epic and Legendary Elixirs can be obtained through the Normal and Hard modes of the Ivory Tower Abyssal Dungeon, respectively. The refining process involves a combination of luck and strategic decision-making, allowing players to choose specific bonuses for their gear.
There’s also elixir crafting, transmutation, and refining. Elixirs can be transmuted to imbue effects onto gear, and players can refine these effects for more customization. Crafting elixirs requires "Energy of Wisdom," which can be obtained through dungeon clears and dismantling Elixirs. Refining and transmuting Epic Elixirs have also been made more accessible with reduced gold requirements and materials.
Besides all that, adjustments were made to the cost of upgrading set gear effects and the removal of gold costs for upgrading to set Level 2.
The update is expected to go live today, December 20th, following scheduled downtime.
