Check Out OGPlanet's Dizzel Today via Early Access
OGPlanet is making Dizzel available to players across North America and Europe today via the Dizzel client or Steam Early Access. It's a bit of an unconventional free-to-play title, as it combines fatality-style executions with hardcore shooter mechanics that bring to mind a more "adult" version of GunZ: The Duel.
Dizzel's Early Access launch will feature new in-game content and events for already-established players and will include five new maps, new armor and gear, and even a new playable female character to unleash carnage with, bringing new meaning to the phrase "if looks could kill."
With several different game modes and an over-the-shoulder camera angle, Dizzel looks to join the likes of other recently released TPS titles like ZMR and Hazard Ops, in order to scratch the itch TPS fans have been looking to satisfy for quite some time. This is especially true given the fact that it channels well-known third-person shooters like Gears of War and offers a wide variety of armaments to choose from: assault rifles and shotguns to swords and axes as well, giving you a few ways to mix up how you want to murder your prey.
Fatalities, Mortal Kombat-style, are certainly one of the most interesting parts of Dizzel, and if you don't want to be riddled with bullets you can always dive behind something like Dizzel's creators suggest, but where the title really shines so far are its game modes: Team Death Match and Demolition are on the docket, but "Annihilation," where each team plays as "sentient war machines" or "Predator," where one player is chosen to play as a "BOSS" sound like ridiculous amounts of fun.
Check out Dizzel via Early Access and let us know how rewarding it is -- it looks like the perfect way to unwind after a long day at work, especially if your blood-thirst is as unquenchable as mine.
