Check Out Over An Hour Of Ascent: Infinite Realm's Massive Air/Ground PvP Battles
Want to see 100 minutes of PvP in Ascent: Infinite Realm? If so, you're in luck, because one attendee of G-Star -- a "popular local streamer," according to MMOCulture -- got the chance to film his time in the game and he's now posted the footage to YouTube.
You don't have to go to far into the video to see the scale of A:IR's massive battles, with over a dozen airships firing off every armament imaginable and lots and lots of explosions. Then, after a door is blasted down, the action progresses indoors on foot. Then there's victory (or defeat) and they do it again. And again. And again!
There are also points in the battle where the player is knocked out of his airship and continues the fight on the ground, manning anti-air weapons while dodging bombs from above, before managing to climb back into his airship and take to the air again. Shades of Titanfall, perhaps?
In any case, it certainly looks a bit more interesting than the typical PvP battles we're used to seeing in MMOs. Now it just remains to be seen if Kakao can pull it all off in a satisfactory manner.
