Chaos Rises Today As Lost Ark's May Update Goes Live, Featuring The Thaemine After Story
We also get the Trial Guardian Raid, Music Box of Memories II, and more.
Today, chaos will rise.
Lost Ark's May update, "Chaos Rising,” is going live today. This patch includes the Thaemine After Story, where players who have conquered Thaemine Hard can delve into the Darkness Legion Commander’s Epilogue through the quest "Shadow of the Moon" — obtained from Knight Oscar in Luterra Castle. The storyline reveals the aftermath of Thaemine's assault on Arkesia.
There’s also the MMORPG's Trial Guardian Raid, featuring Hanumatan who awakens from centuries of slumber upon sensing chaotic energies threatening the world. Players must join forces to thwart Hanumatan's wrath and prevent the destruction of Arkesia. It becomes available to raid May 25, rewarding those who complete the challenge handsomely.
Additionally, the update introduces new tales in the Music Box of Memories II — focusing on the lives of ordinary citizens. Players can embark on a new adventure with the Cruel Toy Castle Island, accessible via Procyon’s Compass. Upon arrival, they receive an Ominous Paper initiating a quest that’s accompanied by new achievements, titles, Mokoko Seed, Island Soul, and Toy.
