Century: Age Of Ashes Somehow Just Keeps Ticking, Trials Of The Dragon Event Is Live
I'm kind of stunned this game is still here.
Ok, I'm honestly not even sure how Century: Age of Ashes is still around. I mean, I'm glad for those that like it and for those that work on it that it is, but it's a damn mystery to me. Given that its average player count hasn't been a three digit number starting with a 2 since October 2022, I'm at a loss. I know it's on multiple platforms and not JUST Steam, but still...
While it isn't huge news, yet another event has arrived in the dragon PvP game. This time, players get to take to the skies in the "Trials of the Dragon" event. Additions include hitting up a Survival Event where only the last dragon standing (flying?) wins, a newly decorated Thousand Lights Sanctuary Map complete with Lunar New Year decorations, and new dragons and other cosmetics.
The fun starts today and runs through February 13th.
Now if someone who works for the team could tell me how this is still online and getting updates, even if the updates are really just events, that would be great. Could it really be that successful on console? Don't get me wrong, I found the game fun initially, but, like many, left relatively quickly. I'm kind of amazed. I mean, even the official site's news page hasn't been updated with any of the events run in the last year, including this one (as of this writing).
