Celebrate World Of Warships: Legends’ Fifth Anniversary By Helping To Preserve The USS Texas Museum Ship
There’s also an anniversary event inspired by Ancient Greece.
World of Warships: Legends is turning five and it looks like Wargaming is going big in celebrating the strategy game’s anniversary. The developer has several activities lined up, including a special charity one intended to help preserve the USS Texas museum ship.
This isn’t an in-game event, but rather Wargaming is offering a special ‘USS Texas Legacy’ DLC bundle for Xbox and PlayStation. The full proceeds from purchases of these bundles will go to the Battleship Texas Foundation, which is dedicated to restoring the USS Texas as a museum ship.
The other portion of the event is a giveaway. Players can enter for a chance to win a custom-made Xbox Series X in the shape of the USS Texas, complete with a piece of steel from the ship’s hull. To enter, players will need to follow the instructions on ScreenRant.
As for the in-game birthday celebration, Wargaming announced an event inspired by Ancient Greece. The event offers players new Commanders: Athena, Poseidon, and Zeus. During the event, players can also obtain a Champion’s Box that drops a random crate from previous events. Other goodies can be obtained via a new calendar event.
