Celebrate The Lunar New Year With Team Fight Tactics’ Gifts Of The Golden Lantern Event
Earn firecrackers, a Year of the Tiger egg, and more.
Beginning today, Riot Games’ Team Fight Tactics is celebrating the Lunar New Year with an in-game event. Titled Gifts of the Golden Lantern, the event begins when Duckbill invites players to the Lunar Legend Festival, a place to come together and celebrate…just about everything. Once the invitation is accepted, players can head to the event and begin collecting gifts. In order to do this, they’ll need to confer with various NPCs and find out what items they want for the festival and then procure those items for them. Oh, but collecting gifts isn’t enough to get your hands on your rewards. There are also riddles to deal with.
As for the rewards in question, there will be gifts from the Tacticians as well as rewards just available throughout the festival. Completing the event will earn players the following as well:
- 1 Festival Firecracker (Has a chance to contain Chibi Firecracker Jinx)
- 1 Year of the Tiger Egg (Has a chance to contain Year of the Tiger Protector)
- 1 Festival of Beasts 2021 Egg
- 180 Star Shards
- Like My Stripes? Emote
As noted, the event begins today, with the arrival of patch 12.2. It will last until patch 12.3 hits.
