It Doesn't Matter Where You Are In Space, You Can Celebrate The Lunar New Year In Eve Online
Apparently Earth’s moon is still the most loved moon.
Even in New Eden, where lots of other moons are floating around being mined for all their precious ore, Earth’s Moon is still loved. Of course, that means CCP announced Lunar New Year festivities for the Year of the Rabbit in Eve Online. The festivities kick off today and run until January 31. During this time, players can take advantage of special deals in the game’s shop.
That’s… pretty much the festivities that are listed right now. Sales in the Eve Store. However, there may be more coming, as the devs promise more details in a stream tomorrow.
These sales consist of two special packs; the Red Stargazer Pack and the Lunar Festival Pack. The first includes 30 days of Omega time, 500 PLEX, an Advanced ‘Boost’ Cerebral Accelerator, 1 Skill Extractor, and Red Stargazer Skins for several ships that display visual effects upon the use of PvP skills. The Lunar Festival Pack includes 8 days of Omega time, 50 PLEX, 50,000 Skill Points, a Basic ‘Boost’ Cerebral Accelerator, Vexor Navy Issue Empyrean Dragon Skin, Empyrean Dragons Jackets, and fireworks.
In one of those ‘nice timing’ things, Simplified Chinese is now live on the Tranquility server. Union Pay has also been added as a new payment processor for the game.
