Celebrate Black Desert Online’s Anniversaries With A Month Of Events And Giveaways
PC is on its seventh year, consoles are on their fourth.
Black Desert Online has been around for a while on Xbox now… even longer on PC. Hell, even cross-play has been available for three years. The game’s first launch, on PC, took place seven years ago. The Xbox version launched three years later, and crossplay between the two followed not long after that. What that results in is a lot of anniversaries to celebrate – if you’re the kind of developer that wants to celebrate them all.
It seems like Pearl Abyss does, and they’ve chosen to do it with a month-long celebration featuring events and giveaways. This all starts today with players being able to earn special rewards by logging into the game. Both PC and console players will get special rewards for logging in each day between now and February 29.
Beyond the in-game rewards, Pearl Abyss is hosting a few streams celebrating each of the individual anniversaries. The seventh anniversary of the PC launch will have a special stream on Friday, March 3 at 12:00 PST. The next day they’ll host a stream for the console's fourth anniversary at 12:00 PST. Both can be watched on YouTube and Twitch.
Oh, and since this is an anniversary, Pearl Abyss shared some of the year’s highlights in a handy infographic. Enjoy.
