Celebrate 10 Years Of Big Booms On Consoles With World Of Tanks Modern Armor
It’s been a decade since WoT rolled onto Xbox.
Ten years ago, Wargaming launched World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition, becoming one of the first free-to-play games to be offered on consoles. Following that, the console version of WoT made its way to the PlayStation in 2016. After a few iterations, the console version of the game became World of Tanks Modern Armor – a version that features more than 1,000 playable tanks from the World War II and Cold War eras.
Now, Wargaming is celebrating a full decade on consoles, beginning with that first launch on the Xbox. They’re making a pretty big deal out of it too, making the celebration a year-long affair. Things are already underway with the drop of new Celebration war Chests, as well as the Anniversary: Big X Community Op that will reward players with two free tanks: the Lago M38 and the T-34-88.
The next part of the event kicks off on February 13 and includes even more rewards like Garage Gear. Veteran players will also receive a free or heavily discounted Tier X MBT-B tank.
In addition, players will be able to earn monthly rewards associated with special events. Players can access those via the Celebrations companion website. Full details on the celebration are available on the World of Tanks Modern Armor site.
