CCP Games Is Still Attempting An EVE Universe FPS, And They’re Taking Tester Applications
The developer’s London-based studio is currently working on the “top-secret, unannounced FPS game”.

CCP Games is ready to give the FPS game set in the EVE universe thing another try. Rather, they’ve been working on it already and they’re ready for a select few to give what they’re doing a try. During EVE Fanfest in May, CCP London revealed that they were still working on the shooter in question and that it was in pre-production.
It seems that the game, which still doesn’t have a title, has progressed enough to have at least a few people give it a whirl. The company posted signups via a survey site asking for individuals to participate in “secret playtests, focus groups, and surveys”. The signup, shared on Reddit, really emphasizes the “secret” part.
“Before you begin we want to stress that this is top-secret, and so any players selected will be required to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). This is a legal agreement to protect our project, and once that's signed we'll be able to share lots more information about the game!”
Although, we suppose if the signups themselves were supposed to be secret, they might not have made the link publicly available.
The Reddit post attracted some skepticism from readers and generated some discussion around a previous FPS project of the developer’s. Hopefully, this will go better for them than Dust 514 did. Perhaps they won’t tie it to a single console platform.
