CCP Drops A Motherload Of Technical Updates In Eve Online
The latest update continues the Eve Evolved initiative.

CCP Games is still busy making Eve Online a “forever” thing, and, as part of that, they’ve dropped a new update that makes improvements to several of the game’s core components. That means players may now experience improved “cutting-edge visual and technical capabilities” in the game. In short, they can expect smoother performance.
The update also makes improvements to the game’s sound. Now, the game’s client won’t play all sounds at once, but instead only the more important – or relevant sounds. This means that players will hear what they need to hear while the game abuses their CPUs a bit less. And, hopefully, players will be able to understand what they’re hearing better as well.
CCP continues to improve the game’s UI. The latest update modernizes it, updating the Neocom to match Photon and improving legibility. Other UI improvements include replacing the red dots of notifications with subtle highlights.
In future updates, players can look forward to improved turret audio, new faction warfare music, object instancing, and more. A full rundown of current and future changes is available on the Eve Online site.
