Destiny 2 Into the Pale Heart Cinematic

Bungie has dropped another cinematic for Destiny 2’s The Final Shape expansion, as the release date gets closer and closer.

In the latest stage-setting cutscene, Guardians gain a crucial foothold in The Pale Heart of The Traveler. The scene unfolds as Crow emerges from a portal within The Traveler, only to be met with gunfire from Cayde-6, the long-dead Hunter Vanguard. This encounter is teeming with nostalgia and tension, as Cayde is unaware of Crow's transformation into a Guardian. However, Crow's Ghost intervenes, leading to a tentative alliance between the two against their common enemy, The Witness. The shooter's cutscene is rich in fan service and narrative depth, which is nice. Let’s hope a redemption is in store for Destiny 2 after the not-so-hot Lightfall (the previous expansion).

Also, there’s a new official post offering a comprehensive preview of upcoming ability tuning adjustments in the game. It outlines various changes affecting subclasses across different classes, aiming to balance gameplay and enhance the overall experience. The adjustments focus on improving underperforming abilities, refining synergies within subclasses, and addressing community feedback to create more diverse and engaging gameplay.

We've also received a new ViDoc from Bungie showing some great "behind the scenes" and we'll get a Part 2 in this series before The Final Shape releases.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape drops on June 4.
