Cartoon Smash-up Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Releases For Consoles And PC
Phantoms and aliens and turtles, oh my!
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, the fighting game mash-up you didn't know you wanted, has launched for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game features intense four-player platform battles with 20 of the most popular characters from Nick shows and is already being primed for the esports scene, which Nigel Thornberry would likely describe as "Smashing!"
Drawing its roster from shows such as SpongeBob SquarePants, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Hey Arnold!, Invader Zim, Danny Phantom, The Loud House, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Rugrats, and more, each character has its own move set, including some that you can unlock that are "unique to each character’s personality." The battles take place over 20 levels, including SpongeBob SquarePants’ Jellyfish Fields ad TMNT’s Technodrome.
Did we mention esports? Today and every day until the 9th, at 2 p.m. Pacific on the Nick Twitch channel, you can tune into the Nicktoon Throwdown Invitational, where you'll see exhibition matches featuring some of "esports' top competitive champions," commentary from the game's developers, and more.
