Can You Survive Dysterra's Free Steam Weekend? It Kicks Off Tomorrow
Survival shooter Dysterra is giving players a free weekend to check out the game.
A future Earth has been destroyed and you're left to pick up the pieces and survive. That's the premise of survival shooter Dysterra, now in early access on Steam. Normally, early access would run you $29.99, but you can check it out this weekend for free.
Running February 2nd at 10:00 am PST through February 6th at 10:00 am PST you can roam the post-apocalyptic lands of Dysterra and survive with your friends during their free weekend event. Beginning on the 2nd and running through February 9th, you can also take advantage of a 30% off sale on the game if you decide you want to stick around.
There's lots of new content coming according to last month's roadmap as well, including new weapons, vehicles, and housing features. Along with that comes two new underground areas to explore. The Bunker is a free-for-all space where survivors will face off in tense skirmishes to loot new resources, while the Hyena Den is a new private instance dungeon where you can gather resources and improve your gear without the threat of other players.
Recent reviews on Steam for Dysterra are "Mostly Positive", so this could be an interesting game to check out while it's free if you're into survival FPS games.
