Call Of Duty: Vanguard & Warzone Season 4: "Mercenaries Of Fortune" Is Now Live On All Available Platforms
Between Warzone's new battle royale map and the return of Zombies in Vanguard, there's quite a lot to play.
Live now is Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone's new fourth season titled the "Mercenaries of Fortune." Besides the Terminator collab, players can expect to jump into the brand-new Warzone battle royale map and overcome the returning round-based Zombies mode in Vanguard.
Fortune's Keep, the latest battle royale map in Warzone, was developed by High Moon Studios, featuring stunning vistas and undiscovered riches. Operators will fight across a Mediterranean-inspired seaside town with notable landmarks oozing historical significance. The map will introduce two major in-game features to shake up the current meta strategies.
"Black Market Run Contract" challenges Operators to get to the Black Market Buy Station before the timer expires, and once there, players can spend cash on exclusive items like the Nebula V Minigun or a unique Specialist Bonus. In the other feature, "Cash Extraction," players can attempt to ambush and stop the extraction of straggling mercenaries hoping to airlift off with a boatload of cash. But Operators will need to keep an eye out for opposing players looking to steal the goods.
As Vanguard players wade through the swamplands of the Shi No Numa map, they'll push through a new multi-step Wonder Weapon quest. Completing the quest rewards players with a unique Calling Card, but there are other rewards and hidden secrets to discover from side quests on the map. Shi No Numa is also the backdrop for the classic round-based Zombies mode, which was last seen 13 years ago in the original release for World at War. The Zombies mode comes to Vanguard as a free update, so don't worry about buying anything to experience it today.
