Maps, Modes, And Mayhem: Modern Warfare 3 And Warzone Season 2 Is Dropping This Week
New multiplayer maps, map variants, game modes, and more.
Season 2 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, which is real soon, has been revealed.
There’s four new Core 6v6 maps coming to the multiplayer shooter mode in Modern Warfare 3: Stash House, Vista, Departures, and Das Haus (Remastered). Also, there’s two otherworldly themed map variants and a downtown Urzikstan skyscraper in Operation Tin Man being introduced. Six game modes are added as well.
Resurgence Refocused introduces Fortune’s Keep in Warzone, plus a new area of operations where players must navigate through the aftermath of a massive explosion. The island's 11 initial Points of Interest undergo big changes, and players can take on limited-time Contracts to eradicate Zombie Nests, Zombie power-ups, Extendable Bridges, and a Squad Wipe Streak Tracker.
Additionally, Modern Warfare 3 Zombies continues the Dark Aether Story Act with Operation Deadbolt Strike Teams. Players will face the largest infested Stronghold in a Rift, unlock new challenges and schematics, and tackle the chemical warfare specialist Warlord Keres at the Killhouse in the Orlov Military Base. Season 2 also introduces four new Base Weapons, seven Aftermarket Parts, and undead Operator Skins featuring skeletal John Doe. The new Battle Pass has characters like Rick Grimes from AMC’s The Walking Dead, too.
Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 2 drops this Wednesday on February 7.
