Call Of Duty Developers Delay New Season By Almost 2 Weeks
This delay is for both Vanguard and Warzone.
Note: Activision Blizzard is still under investigation by the state of California for serious harassment charges. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about such actions within his company – and performed some himself – and shielded the perpetrators from consequences.
Things haven’t exactly been stellar in the Call of Duty world as of late with players having issues in Vanguard, Warzone Pacific, and Modern Warfare, so it will probably come as no shock to some of you that the developers have decided to push back the start of the new season for two of these games just a tad. It’s not a massive push. In fact, it doesn’t even hit the two-week mark. Still, it’s disappointing news for those who have been waiting for the new season to kick off.
If you’re one of those folks, you’re going to want to change the date on your calendar from February 2 to February 14 – and just hope your significant other understands. In the meantime, the teams for both games say they will be using the delay to add updates, optimize gameplay, balance several things, fix bugs and other issues, and just add a bit of polish to things. Overall, they expect the work to address community concerns.
