Bunnies, Eggs, Chickens...It's All Part Of A Spring Event In THE FINALS, There's Even Bunny Ear Rewards
Apparently the team is pretty happy with the current meta.
It's time, once again, for some tactical bunny warfare in Embark Studios' F2P shooter The Finals. Honestly, that's a very weird sentence that I never imaged I'd be typing at any point in my life, but that's the world we live in now. Bunny Bash, the game's annual spring event, runs for the next two weeks and introduces a variant of the Power Shift mode complete with locked loadouts.
The mode takes place on the SYS$Horizon, Monaco, Skyway Stadium, Kyoto, Bernal, and Las Vegas Stadium maps. Expect plenty of bunny, egg, and yolk puns if the event's trailer below is anything to go by. Each week sees a different circuit and each has 5 rewards available. Circuit one is live now and the second will arrive next week. Rewards include Pink Bunny Ears and a plethora of egg or chicken-based skins. You can see the full reward list on the official post.
Update 6.3 isn't just about the Bunny Bash, though. Ruby rank has been added to ranked mode, the spring Twitch Drops are live if you watch streamers often, the Sword's secondary attack has been nerfed, and, while there are some balance changes listed in the notes, they aren't extensive.
"This week's balance changes are fairly light as right now, the overall meta is looking more stable than it has for a while," says the team. "We are monitoring several items based on their performance at present though and are likely to make some adjustments to them in the coming weeks. These include the Cerberus 12GA, Pike-556 and FAMAS, as well as each of the three new weapons, the M134 Minigun, CB-01 Repeater and the ARN-220."
It's always good to see that the team is happy with the current meta.
