Bungie Has Released The Newest Trailer For Destiny 2: Lightfall’s Upcoming Launch
Bungie has a lot planned for Season 20.
Destiny 2's Lightfall and a brand new Season begin in just a few short days. In celebration of this momentous launch, and to get players even more excited, Bungie has just shared the latest trailer to prepare Guardians for their newest adventure.
In addition, the Witch Queen expansion will be available to all players until February 26. Guardians will be able to earn Exotics that can continue to be used even after the free weekend is over. In total, there are 14 powerful Exotics that can be earned. Another important note, Destiny 2: Season of the Seraph will finish on February 27. All Bungie Rewards will need to be claimed before then.
In addition to Destiny 2 getting a whole lot harder, Crucible is having a few minor changes, with major changes planned after Lightfall’s launch. One of the most important notes is that Bungie will be lowering how common Rift and Showdown come up in play. “While RNG can give any sequence of maps and modes, we expect Survival to show up roughly 2/3 of the time, and Right and Showdown to split the other 1/3.”
Then, the Seasonal Artifact is receiving some spice this upcoming Season starting with: Artifact mods are now artifact perks, players won’t have to slot them into armor pieces anymore, as once a player unlocks an artifact perk, it will automatically apply to their Guardian. Twelve perks will now be unlockable per character and the anti-Champion weapons featured on the artifact can also be Overcharged in higher-difficulty activities. To accommodate these changes, Artifice Armor has been upgraded to feature a unique mod that grants three additional points to a character stat of a player’s choice.
If the information about changes to Seasonal Artifacts was a bit hard to understand, Bungie’s official blog post highlights and showcases just what the Ascendant Scepter will bring to the table come Season 20 and a few other minor details that should arrive with Lightfall.
Destiny 2: Lightfall arrives on February 28! Only a few short days, Guardians!
