Bungie Is Celebrating Bungie Day With A Destiny 2 Tournament
The Bungie Foundation’s biggest supporters will compete in a 16-team PvP tournament.
Bungie Day is coming up this Sunday. As part of the celebration, Bungie is hosting a Bungie Foundation tournament, pitting 16 teams against each other in Destiny 2. The match will feature the Foundation’s biggest supporters in matches with pre-determined modifiers, loadout restrictions, and custom game types. The shooter game’s community may even get in on the action with a “last-minute curveball”.
Of course, the Bungie Foundation is focused on charity, so they’re also encouraging players to fundraise and donate as well.
Following the excitement this weekend, the dev team will host a livestream for Act II on July 9. During the stream, the team will preview the new content that will arrive with Echoes: Act II. Details on the stream and tournament are available in the latest This Week in Destiny.
