Broken Ranks Sets Will Be Reworked And Difficulty Levels Added In Upcoming Update
The developers are implementing other changes to make the game clearer and more user-friendly.
Broken Ranks gets some sets reworked and difficulty levels added.
On December 12, the turn-based MMORPG will receive a reintroduction of sets for legendary gear — aiming to make them competitive with rares. Sets will retain their unique mechanics, with adjustments to values and attributes to align with current standards. The effects provided by sets will no longer factor into reduction calculations for the number of gear pieces with the same modifier, affecting synergetics as well. Each element of a set will also now have one slot for drif insertion, operating differently from rares but offering flexibility and specialization.
So going forward, charging set gear will align with the mechanics of rares — discharging when an element contains a drif or an orb. However, the number of charges for set gear will be significantly higher…set at 10,000 charges. Set parts for matching sets will be equalized, with some sets receiving additional parts or changes.
The update will also enhance the availability of set gear, increasing the overall drop rate while keeping them rarer than legendaries. Also, spawn rates of champions will be more adjusted to make things easier for players. Furthermore, additional difficulty levels and changes will be introduced to instances.
Several other changes and fixes will be implemented as well, including an improved world map for clarity and user-friendliness. Players will no longer need to manually track dynamic event timings too, as the information will be available on the map. Additional functionalities for smoother gameplay will be introduced, along with a new location added to the teleportation tower.
