Broken Ranks Overhauling Gear And Bringing New Big Bad Boss
Gear changes, a new instance, and a new big bad to slay.
Broken Ranks sets itself apart from other MMORPGs with its turn-based combat, and today White Moon Games has announced that the game is getting a gear overhaul, two new quests, and a new boss instance that will challenge even the most veteran players.
The first part of the gear overhaul will take place in the first half of April and is targeting legendary gear and making it more interesting. After the update, players will be able to embed modifiers into their gear to increase the power of their characters and make gameplay more varied.
“We wanted to meet the expectations of our players by giving them something that will make the gameplay more exciting at various character levels. We bought out coffee from a nearby store, sat down, and brainstormed. After throwing many ideas into the trash bin, we finally came up with a concept that was met with a lot of positive feedback from our community. To be honest, we are very happy and grateful for all the comments. However, we’ll keep monitoring the situation to check if additional balancing is in order,” says the founder of the studio, Krzysztof Danilewicz.
Along with this gear overhaul will come two new quests and a new instance. The new instance is an idea from their notebook in an area that the team says was just asking to have an instance created there. Before the boss will reveal themself you'll have to solve a few puzzles and defeat various opponents.
