Bring Down The Mothership In Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 7 Finale Event ‘Operation: Sky Fire’
It’s time to send those aliens packing.
It’s almost time for Fortnite’s latest season to come to an end, and it looks like it’ll be going out with another bang as the aliens are readying to take on the Imagined Order’s secret base. That is, of course, if the players don’t stop them first. The good news is that the IO’s Slone has a plan to infiltrate The Last Reality and send the aliens running.
The plan, Operation: Sky Fire, is the next big end-of-season event. It’s set to take place at 4:00 pm Eastern on September 12, during which time players in groups of up to 16 will join a strike team and invade the alien mothership. The whole event is scheduled to take 30 minutes, and it will not repeat. So, if you want to take part, rather than just watching someone’s recording of it later, you’ll need to be there. As with most of these events, it’s suggested that players get in 30 minutes early to be able to reserve their spot.
Before that happens, players will need to make sure they’ve completed everything related to Chapter 2 Season 7. That means spending all your Bars, completing any remaining Battle Pass content, claiming any items related to the season, and completing all of Superman’s Quests. (Non-battlepass related quests can be completed later. So don’t worry about LeBron or Vox.)
