Bluehole Now Recruiting Players For Ascent: Infinite Realm CBT
Developer Bluehole is getting ready for the first Closed Beta Test for its upcoming (everything but the kitchen sink) game Ascent: Infinite Realm in Korea. The Beta is set for mid December, meaning those who would like to participate need to start signing up now. There's no official word on how many testers will be allowed in, so... you know... the sooner players sign up, the better. Unfortunately, the rest of us are going to have to wait...particularly if you can't read Korean.
According to MMO blogger Steparu, the developer will be recruiting testers until December 10. After that, the test phase will kick off on the 13th and run for four days -- or until the 17th.
For those who have yet to hear about Ascent: Infinite Realm or "A:IR", it's a fantasy/steampunk MMO featuring everything from Final Fantasy VI-style mechs to airship battles and dragons. If the announcement video is anything to go by, it also seems to offer a pretty robust crafting and housing system -- I'm really not sure if the part where they're crafting a gryphon is part of the gameplay or just showing us what the developers has been up to. You can check out the video in Jason's reveal post.
