Blue Protocol Live Stream Provides Japan Launch Time, Peek At August's Blitz Lancer Class, And Cash Shop
Everything from the launch time to store information is available.
While Blue Protocol’s global release has been delayed, plans for the MMORPG's Japanese launch proceed. In fact, we now know that the game will launch specifically at 12:00hrs JST on June 14. The launch time comes from the game’s latest live stream, in which the developers cover a lot of material. They discuss launch campaigns – of which it appears there will simply be one. This is due to the varying regulations in different regions and what they’ll be able to do when the game launches there.
The stream also offers players a look at the game’s premium store, the gacha system, the season pass, and more. For those wondering, the store will feature limited packs for a one-time purchase, costumes, mounts, and even underwear among other things. The Gacha system...well, it seems to be pretty much what you’d expect, but they held back on providing specific details because the game is currently being limited to the Japanese market.
Overall, the stream provided a lot of information for players, in Japanese, of course. The good news is that the dev team also dropped a deep dive on the game’s site earlier today and it’s in English. The whole thing is pretty lengthy and includes several videos and a peek at the Blitz Lancer class coming to the Japanese version of the game in August.
