Blue Protocol Headed To Japanese Launch In Spring 2023, Sign Ups For Network Test Open Until December 13th
After a LONG period of silence, news is really rolling lately!
"Bull Pro Communication #5", as Twitter translate laughingly calls it, is over and boy did it drop some sweet Blue Protocol news. If you've been following the MMORPG for a while, you've maybe been a bit concerned at the total lack of news for... well a long time. That changed over the last two weeks as the game's Twitter seemed to come alive confirming it was still in development and that a network test was coming soon.
The team's info stream showed off a ton of gameplay, art design, and more during the slightly over 2.5 hour show. You can watch the entire thing below, but you'll be at the mercy of unofficial fan translations for a bit as no closed captioning is available on the original YouTube video.
The biggest news, however, is right here: the MMORPG is headed for a Spring 2023 launch in Japan and the previously announced network test will take plane January 14th-16th. You can sign up now (until December 13th) but you'll have to meet a few requirements... first and foremost being you living in Japan with a BANDAI NAMCO ID.
The network test will be accepting 50,000 participants and if you get invited, you'll be able to bring a friend in on the action. Sign up if you meet the requirements (which also reveal the PC specs for the MMORPG!)
We also received a new trailer for the game and got word that another new trailer is scheduled to be shown off at The Game Awards 2022 on December 8th. That means that while a global launch technically wasn't "officially" confirmed, it's more likely than not given the global audience of the awards show.
Check out the new trailer and the full stream below!
