Blood Bowl 3 Developers Apologize For Server Issues, Monetization, And Much More
The game has only just released, but that won’t stop its player base from being brutally honest.
Blood Bowl 3, the latest iteration of the turn-based fantasy sports video game, has been out for only three short days and has been met with a mass amount of player distress as many are experiencing issues with the game's functionality, server stability, monetization system, and more.
The development team has responded to these issues explaining that they are committed to fixing the issues as soon as possible. One of the major concerns among players has been the game's monetization system. “This is something we tried to communicate ahead of the launch, but we intend to implement features allowing players to be rewarded either with cosmetic items or Warpstone through play as well as purchase,” the announcement read. “We know that we will probably not be able to convince all of you but we truly believe that our system is fair, rewarding and optional and that’s understandable.” The development team went on to outline the free rewards that players can expect to earn through the game's leveling system, stressing that “we want players to be able to unlock a lot of content for free.”
Another issue that has arisen is the leaked information about future teams in the game. The development team has clarified that these factions are still in development and that they will share more information when they are ready to be revealed.
In addition, the team has addressed the error that caused players to receive the Brutal Edition of the game, regardless of the version they purchased. While the team will not remove the 1000 Warpstone bonus that players received, they will have to remove the cosmetic bonuses that were supposed to only be available to Brutal Edition players. To make up for this, the team will credit Brutal Edition players with an additional 1000 Warpstone and an extra 250 Warpstone for Early Unlock players. “We understand this does not solve everything, but we hope that it will at least ease this feeling and show our gratitude. We will always follow this policy with our community.”
