BlizzCon 2013: Hearthstone Open Beta in December, Phone Versions in 2014
While the focus is undeniably on World of Warcraft and the just-announced Warlords of Draenor expansion, Blizzard revealed plenty of juicy details regarding its free-to-play properties in their keynote speech to kick off BlizzCon.
If you still don't have a key for Hearthstone, you won't have too much longer to wait. The online TCG will be going into open beta in December -- or maybe January, in BlizzTime. Definitely Soon(TM).
Also, if you want to get your card-gaming fix on the go, you'll be able to play Hearthstone on iOS and Android phones/tablets in the second half of 2014. A few new animations for characters are also in the works, letting you lay the smackdown on your hapless opponents in style.
