Blizzard’s Warcraft Direct Is Just Two Days Away, But Some Of It's Been Leaked
We don't have some "exact" details, but some big announcements seem to have been accidentally released.
As you may recall, Blizzard decided not to host BlizzCon this year, announcing back in April that they would instead share details on various projects in different ways over time. One way they’re doing that is with Warcraft Direct, taking place on November 13 starting at 10 am Pacific time. As the event is only two days away, the company decided to tease the event today with a video celebrating 20 years in Azeroth.
During the stream on Wednesday, fans have the opportunity to see what the devs have planned for World of Warcraft in the future as well as watch a 30th Anniversary concert broadcast celebrating the franchise’s music. The concert was recorded live in Switzerland and features the 21st Century Orchestra and three choirs, totaling 190 performers.
While Blizzard hasn’t shared exactly what fans can expect to hear during the stream, it seems at least one thing was leaked. According to a video uploaded by Bellular yesterday, someone uploaded “Warcraft 2 remastered internal alpha” to Battle.net but forgot to encrypt it. It seems likely we’ll be hearing about that on Wednesday. Of course, the devs are sure to have news for fans of the World of Warcraft MMORPG.
