Blizzard Plans Live Event, Stream For July 22 Hearthstone Reveal
Blizzard's got something up its sleeve regarding Hearthstone, with a target date of July 22 for the big reveal, and now the company has revealed just how we'll all be able to learn about the big news.
If you're in the San Francisco area, you can stop by the Folsom Street Foundry, located at 1425 Folsom Street (who'd have guessed?), at 2:00 p.m. local time. The even starts at 2:30 and will also be streamed via the Hearthstone Twitch channel. Hearthstone Game Director Eric Dodds will be in attendance, as well as other developers and notables from the e-sports and Hearthstone communities. You can find the full details of the shindig here.
So, what could this be about? Goblins & Gnomes released in December of last year, so an announcement of an imminent release would push the schedule ahead a fair bit. Maybe it will be about some new e-sports initiative or major change to the game. At the very least, I don't think Blizzard would go to this much trouble just to announce some new hero re-skins. I hope.
