Black Friday Is This Week And Game Companies Would Like Your Money, So Here's Some Deals
NCSoft and Square Enix are both rolling out the discounts.
It’s that time of year...when companies everywhere drop the prices on their wares in hopes of convincing everyone to buy a lot of them and end the year with a nice bundle of cash. That’s right, Black Friday is this week. If you’re gonna go out, try to avoid causing each other physical harm by fighting over goods. If you’re staying home and ordering your Black Friday goodies, you can start now.
Currently, NCSoft and Square Enix are rolling back the prices on MMOs. In the case of NCSoft, they have sales going for Guild Wars 2, Aion, and Blade of Soul. Guild Wars 2 players can pick up different expansion sets for 20% to 50% off. The complete collection is 20% off at $80. The game’s third expansion, End of Dragons, is also 20% off, running $24, and expansions one and two are available as a bundle for $15. That’s 50% off.
Aion and Blade and Soul players will also be able to pick up some goodies cheap. In the case of Aion, there are many items available for 20% off and players can also pick up a free Turkey Hunt Gift Box. Blade and Soul players can grab different goodies for up to 50% off.
Square Enix also sent out a Black Friday mailer today. If you’ve been looking to get into Final Fantasy XIV, they’re offering both the Complete Collector’s Edition and the Online Complete Editions at 50% off, so you can hop into the game for $30 or $70, depending on how many digital goodies you’d like to have.
