Black Desert Online Revealed Quite A Bit Of New Content At Festa Event, Including 300v300 PvP Details
Anyone up for bi-weekly 300v300 battles?
This past weekend, Pearl Abyss held the Black Desert Festa event. During this event, they revealed the MMORPG’s upcoming roadmap teasing new content, bosses, class awakenings, and more. Probably the (literal) biggest thing being introduced soon is some new PvP content titled “War of the Roses”.
This bi-weekly content is designed for 600 players to compete in a 300v300 battle in real-time warfare on a Tactical Map. It’s different from the Node and Conquest wards in that players aren’t required to build fortifications before the battle. The focus is on combat and strategy instead.
Other upcoming PvP content includes the third season of Arena of Solare. Players will battle in locations throughout the Shimnidae Forest and the Gowun Plateau.
As mentioned, a new boss is on its way. The Serpent Boss, Imoogi, will be found in the Black Shrine in the Land of the Morning Light. Defeating this boss will require players to focus on an altar in the center of the battlefield while avoiding Imoogi’s attacks.
And yes, we mentioned a new class awakening as well. That’s actually out today. No longer will players have to wait on Maegu’s awakening. Other content was revealed as well. Details on all of it are available in the video below.
